Bonds would've already broken Aaron's record if he played some years at Fulton Co. Stadium (AKA- The Launching Pad). John Schuerholz had a trade all set up sending reliever Alejandro Pena, outfielder Keith Mitchell, and a future prospect to Pittsburgh for Barry. Schuerholz backed out of the deal the next day because Pirate Manager Jim Leyland was furious that Bonds was being traded with a year left on his contract. The next year, Ba-Bo went on to play for the team with the Halloween costumes and the rest is in juiced up history.
