Marlon Byrd and Brandan Watson will split time in centerfield. Bowden indicates that the move was made because Watson was simply better in spring. If I were Church, I would be seething. I suspect he is.... certainly, there are a number of teams out there who would like him (Seattle, after the Reed injury, for one).
