If I were a Bo-Sox fan, I'd gladly want A-Rod on my team. Under that situation, the Yankees could never beat them. Nonetheless, if I were at the game, this would've brought out a big chuckle from me, rather than a boo.

I was at that game. They didn't boo Alex Gonzalez, they booed Carl Beane, the Red Sox announcer. Red Sox fans knew they're own team was up at bat. Man, the Daily News is really digging for something here, huh?

And, as has been discussed here before, you THINK you'd get a chuckle out of it, because folks who aren't in the middle of the Red Sox/Yankees thing have no idea how deep it goes.

And most Red Sox fans, including myself, believe that if the Red Sox got Slappy in 2004, we don't get the World Series win. SO, no, Red Sox fans DON'T want him on our team. Yanks can have him.
