The D-Rays haver a plethora of OF talent, especially with Young coming up next year, Gomes mashing the ball, and Rocco, Gathright, and Huff. They NEED a starter to be the #2 guy behind Kazmir. They're not stupid down there in Tampa, they'll get more than just Santana (possibly Wood?). I think this would actually be a good trade for both sides, as long as the D-Rays got equal value for C.C. Tampa needs to show him the money! Baldelli is nothing but a bunch of hot air. Tampa needs to lock up Crawford & Gomes if they can. Santana is a future star pitcher.You can also get great hiiters but it is hard to get great pitchers unleess you are in the basement and always get number one picks. I respectfully disagree. I think the Angels would get the better end of that deal. Tampa should offer up Rocco Baldelli & maybe another prospect for Santana.
