After receiving this surprise, Francona called Millar and said, "Any chance you ever had of coming back here just went right down the toilet with that bag". NO KIDDING!!!! I wonder if this so-called gift was a metaphor of how Millar really felt about Francona's managing skills. Rick Sutcliffe (the guy who trashed Tommy Lasorda's office after being cut by the Dodgers in '79) must be thinking, "Gee, why didn't I ever think about doing that for Lasorda?"....

you k now why? Because the manager has VERY LITTLE to do, if anything at all, with what players come and go...especially when its a guy as confident as Theo as the GM. This doesn't make much sense.
