If he didn't do it on the very first pitch, he wouldn't have gotten that logn a suspension, or any suspension at all....he wasn't crafty about it. He was just a head hunter. Wait until the count is 3-2 or something...you know you're getting kicked out after they issued the warnings anyway, but might as well make the hitter sweat a little bit and then think to himself "maybe he ISN'T gunna hit me, phew" and then catch him totally off guard. What's an extra 5 or 6 pitches anyway when you know you're being taken out of the game? Plus, it wouldn't have looked so god damn obvious if he dragged it out a little bit..... and, what's a 5 game suspension for a starting pitcher? He's gunna be taking the next 4 days off anyway. That's gotta be like sending a kid to his room w/o allowing him to finish his broccoli.
