Growing up in Poway, I wonder if Tony Jr. dreamed of getting his first big league hit off a guy named after a Beach Boy. In any case, it's unlikely that he thought it would occur on the anniversary of his old man's first hit.

This is really cool (and suited for a false rumor)... Jr. can only hope to be half the great player his Dad was, though. Still, nice start.
