I know this is off the baseball topic, but this is a classic example in all of sports of how corporations and franchisees are hopping on the bandwagon of the most ridiculous advertising I've ever seen. The Arizona Cardinals made a wise choice in sacking this idea, even though the owner of this restaurant--who happens to be the son of the Hard Rock Cafe founder-- offered $30 million for naming rights of the stadium. In baseball, there's already several ballparks with silly names (i.e. Petco Field & Pac Bell/SBC Park) I hope this kind of advertising is a fad, so I don't have to attend a game at Wal Mart Stadium someday.
