Date :   8/15/08, 11:45pm I was actually surprised when I saw how Jim Edmonds's career stats are almost similar to Jim Rice's. When I think of Edmonds, the first thought that comes to mind is INJURIES. Rarely does a year go by when Edmonds is not on the D.L. I have to disagree with your comment, though. Date :   8/16/08, 10:17am I actually think Edmonds is also worthy of the Hall. His spectacular defense alone should get him in and despite all the injuries, he has still managed to put on amazing offensive stats. Imagine how much better he would've been if he wasn't on the D.L. so much. But, I really feel bad for Jim Rice, who hasn't been given his due after being on the HOF ballot for several years. Though, he'll probably get in there in the next few years.
