The Astros wasted another pitching gem by Andy Pettite tonight as they lost to the Dodgers 6-2. Pettite only gave up 1 run on 2 hits through 7 innings. Lidge came in to attempt to gain his 8th save in 8 attempts after Lance Berkman homered in the 8th to put the 'stros up 2-1. After getting one out, Lidge allowed a triple by Kenny Lofton, walked 2 batters, and then gave up a grand slam to Nomar. Pettite got the no decision, keeping his record at 1-3, though he has pitched very well his last 3 starts. Hopefully the Astros can rebound tomorrow and tally up more than a measely 2 runs against the Dodgers.
