It is amazing how "money" my fantasy predictions can become, solely on who I decide to keep up on my own teams, and who to throw down.

I put down Beckett and Garcia this week. I kept up Pettitte.

I detect a little sarcasm in your statement Rob.

LOL, well, not really.

This fantasy game can really just plain frustrate the hell out of you. I was sure Beckett would continue his ugly, recent ways against the Yanks AT YANKEE STADIUM and AGAINST RANDY JOHNSON.

I felt like a genius when Beckett gave up a 2 run HR to Giambi in the first... and then the Randy Johnson meltdown began.

I mean: the Dodgers score 12 off Pettite and the Houston relief? Didn't see that coming...

And Freddy Garcia throws 8 innings and gives up one... ad strikes out 6 against the Angels? I've been down on the Angels, but I didn't think Freddy was gonna wipe em out.

Ah well. I did trade for Halladay.

Life goes on. We can't get em all right.

I was very tempted to put Beckett on the block this week. Glad I stuck with him, at least for now. Sometimes the best moves are the ones you don't make.

I need Beckett to pitch well also for BBM purposes. Of course, I'm not so concerned about his win loss record. I just need him to eat up a lot of innings & not give up any runs if possible. Beckett pitches in a tough division though. I have thought about puting him on the trading block, but after Contreras & Ponson going on the DL, I guess I better hold on to him.
