Hello,

Trying to figure who to keep and who to trade.

Jackson is exactly 2 years younger than Morneau so I thought I would compare Morneau's 2005 & 2006 with Jackson's 2007 & 2008.

Conor Jackson May 1983
G AB R H HR RBI BB K
2007 130 415 56 118 15 60 53 50
2008 20 68 20 25 3 19 9 5

AVG OBP SLG OPS
2007 .284 .368 .467 .836
2008 .368 .457 .662 1.119

Justin Morneau May 1981
G AB R H HR RBI BB K
2005 141 490 62 117 22 79 44 94
2006 157 592 97 190 34 130 53 93

AVG OBP SLG OPS
2005 .239 .304 .437 .741
2006 .321 .375 .559 .934

They look similar enough and I think Arizona has a much better lineup. What do I do?

The youth factor only comes into play if it is a keeper league, but I think your thinking should be limited (at this point in the season) to winning.

2006 may have been Morneau's career season, but I don't think he's done.

By gut feeling (and recent past stats), I have to go with the more reliable Morneau.

The only category that I can see Conor surpassing Morneau is, maybe, average... and maybe RBI because Conor plays on such a cohesive, base-getting team.
