A lifelong baseball fan, I'm interested in becoming more active in baseball history, stat compilation, and player evaluation.  Example ... having watched Michael Cuddyer go 0-6 while the Twins scored 20 runs on 20 hits yesterday in the first game of a double-header, I was wondering how many players have gone hitless in a game when everyone else in the lineup coud do no wrong.

I need resources!  I'm hoping you can help me become more of a baseball geek.
