March 1, 2006   ROYALS   Where are all the Royals fans? (By: neoprene_darts) Wow, not many Royals fans around here. I know the last few years have been rough, what with three 100-loss seasons in the last four years. Despite that, the Royals are still my boys. I'm hoping they can surprise some people this year. The additions made in the offseason should improve the team. I like our new infield with Mientkiewicz and Grudzielanek joining Berroa and Teahen. I think those two veterans on the right side will really help out our younger players on the left side, and our young pitchers. With Elarton and Redman in to pitch some innings, our bullpen shouldn't get overused. And the lineup appears to be improved too.
