"Julian Tavarez and the Red Sox have agreed to a two-year deal with a vesting option, according to FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal. His addition might mean that Guillermo Mota will be moved in a deal for a center fielder or a shortstop."
This is a very good signing if true (and at the right price). This would certainly help he bullpen.
Tavarez (32)over the last two years with St. Louis has had respective ERAs of 2.38, and 3.43. His WHIP during those years were 1.18, and 1.32.
