CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Indians have placed shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera on the 15-day disabled list with a broken arm. Cabrera broke his left forearm Monday night at Tampa Bay when he collided with third baseman Jhonny Peralta while diving for a ground ball in the Indians' 4-3 loss in extra innings. The team recalled infielder Jason Donald from Triple-A Columbus to take Cabrera's roster spot. Donald was obtained by the Indians from Philadelphia in July. He was optioned to Columbus on March 20 after batting .200 (four-for-20) with a triple and four RBIs in nine spring training games. He batted .277 (38-for-137) with two homers and 17 RBIs in 37 games for the Clippers.
