It's a sad day for Red Sox fans. More specifically Bill Mueller fans like myself. Mueller has signed a two-year deal to play with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He's gone. The only good thing that comes from this is a draft pick or two because we offered him arbitration. I'm not sure what exactly we'll get in return, but maybe we can get something valuable for the greatest man to throw on the Boston jersey. I'm serious when I say that, too.
Look for a tribute to Mueller at some point soon. I'm prepared to pour my heart into an article for that man.
