Simers on 570 AM radio Sunday that he was close to an agreement with the cable network to provide exclusive coverage of Angels games. The deal reportedly could be worth as much as $500 million and would telecast about 150 games a season. It would also put to rest any idea of an Angels cable TV network for at least 10 years.-box&

Presumably, it would also put to rest any idea that the Angels would move out of Socal in the next ten years.

Won't put to rest a Los Angeles move, however.
