     It was great that O'Neil was given this great tribute, especially after being snubbed from Cooperstown earlier this year.  Being a two-time Negro league batting champion is enough proof that he's one of the all-time greats.  From the article, I found out that he discovered and signed Lou Brock when he was a scout, which is a great feat all by itself.
