And, it loked like a certain loss. Especially when you consider that the Dodgers were dead last in the Major Leagues in HRs this year. Garciaparra didn't allow the balloon to get deflated... after the Dodgers tied it in the bottom of the ninth, the Padres resumed their lead in the top of the 10th. One of the best games of the year... especially considering what was on the line. 1/2 game up or 1 1/2 back.
