More likely than not, teams will wait for the Dodgers to waive Jones outright, allowing them to pay Jones the league minimum, with the remainder of the new contract agreement being paid by the Dodgers.

This probably paves the way for a deal with Manny Ramirez, although the Giants have now made things much more uncomfortable for Ned Colletti.

Bottom line is that Adam Dunn or Manny Ramirez will be a Dodger next season.
