Personally, I think this is a great move for the Mets and Sheffield.  Daniel Murphy might not work out as expected.  Ryan Church could bang his head on something again.

Sheffield would get a lot more potential playing time at Citi Field, I think, than Tampa, Cincy, or Philly.

Looking at the few comments to this article, though, it looks like Mets' fans are NOT interested.
