     This would help solve their second base dilemma with Alfonso Soriano, at least temporarily.  Soriano prefers the American League and may leave the Nats after next season.  However, both teams could benefit from this trade, especially if Wood and Vidro can get over the injuries that have plagued them in the past few years.  Wood is a talented strikeout pitcher, who shows shades of a young Roger Clemens every once in a while and Vidro is definitely in the top 5 among second basemen, overall.
