Signed for $700,000.  I can't figure this move out.

Trading away Casey finally solved the crowded Reds outfield, giving Kearns and Pena equal playing time.

Do you think this is just an insurance policy for Pena or Kearns if they stink it up (so Dunn can be moved from 1B back to the outfield?).
