Leyland flits between fields at the Tigers' spring training complex with his usual nervous energy, yelling encouragement and instructions. He looks none the worse for the absence but knows his return has evoked skepticism. The Sporting News called it the worst managerial hire of the offseason.

Wow, is this really the worst hire of the off-season?  I would disagree.
