One can only guess that this is because of the trouble that had Mondesi playing nearly the entire month of April without pay.

The guy must really be in a bad way, since he believes that it will cost his season, and we're only in May.

I can only hope -- for Mondesi's sake -- that this Mario Guerrero fellow has his various cases against ballplayers thrown out.

Here's a guy (<a href="http://www.baseball-reference.com/g/guerrma01.shtml" target="_blank">Mario Guerrero</a>) who hit 7 total MLB HRs in his 7 year career.  He had an OBP less than .300, and he is taking at least 1% of the credit for Mondy's (and others') success?
