Baseball's average salary is closing in on $3 million

     Now that the steroid issue is under control, baseball must now do something about the out of control payrolls, particularly on big market teams.  It doesn't seem right when the guys who sit on the bench most of the time are making $327 K a year minimum.  The fans in Kansas City deserve to have contending team just as much as the ones in the Bronx.
