Ten former players and coaches were inducted into the new College Baseball Hall of Fame and will be inducted on July 3-4 in Lubbock, TX, the site of the new hall

     Sounds like great news and congrats to Dave Winfield, Rod Dedeaux, and all of the other former players and coaches who made it in.  But, I wonder why it took so long to establish a Hall of Fame for former college players.  I know basketball combines the two for their hall, but the vast majority of those players played college ball, while very few baseball players did the same thing.
