Well, we saw this coming.  He never recovered from the failure at the end of last season... but I reiterate that Randolph doesn't go out on the field.

They hired Jerry Manuel, the 2000 AL manager of the year, to replace Randolph.  Manuel has a 500-471 record in 6 years of managerial experience.
