Jeter stays at short... and this solves the question (surprisingly, for me) as to who will replace Aaron Boone at third.

I looked for references to Arod and third base.  Apparently, it has been in the realm of possiblity.

At baseballprosectus.com, http://premium.baseballprospectus.com/cards/rodrial01.php.  There's a reference to him (in '99) playing at third base 'in a couple of years.'
