Gregg and I touched on this with Hideki's injury... but, once again, a Japanese player shows why the Japanese culture apparently teaches nothing but class.

Said Matsui: "Obviously, this is a game of results and they will react accordingly," Matsui said through an interpreter. "The fact that I couldn't produce for Willie is probably one of the most disappointing things to look back on."

Matsui was optioned to AAA.

A few weeks ago on the podcast, we recommended getting Chris Young in a trade... since then, he has flirted with two no hitters, and last night against the Marlins, he looked like Nolan Ryan.

Awesome performance.

Rumors continue that Ned Colletti is trying to bring him to L.A.

Maddux passes Nolan Ryan and Don Sutton on the career wins list.

Tigers are still hanging on to first place... and they have done it without Dmitri, but this might have some pull on team morale.

If Pujols wants to clear his name once and for all, his best bet would be to walk into Bud Selig's office and demand a blood test on the spot. His huge start in April with nearly 20 homers looks awful suspicious.
