As Ken Rosenthal said, Matsuzaka might be a risk because he throws too many pitches. In a spring training bullpen session, he threw 333 pitches. But, good pitchers are hard to come by nowadays and would be a good risk for any team to take. Daisuke already has 59 complete games--half as many as Roger Clemens-- and he's only 25. You better believe that George Steinbrenner would gain interest in him.

We’ve been talking this guy on our Mariners forum for the last couple of years. As with Ichiro and Jojima, our Japanese ownership is very willing to bid high in the “posting” process. His large workload is of concern, but many on our board consider him one of those rare arms that can handle it. It will be fun to follow this guy wherever he ends up. Scott Borass is defiantly the wild card in all of this.

as someone who has been watching this guy for a while now i'm kinda pissed he got so much attention in the WBC. Now I can't sneak him onto my fantasy team in the late rounds when he finally does come over to the states. (which prob won't be until 2008 for the record) dammit!
