Any deranged idiot who does something like this is out of their minds. Innocent bystanders could easily be hurt through acts such as these. This makes Ba-Bo look like Mother Teresa. Come to think of it, that's what he would want on the day before his reality show, "Bonds On Bonds", makes its debut.

Throwing that syringe is just beyond tacky and is in totaly bad taste. It never amazes me how people act sometimes. If I was sitting next to him, I would narc him out, make sure Barry saw me point him out so he could kick his ass. What a great addition to Bonds on Bonds that would be.

Call me paranoid, but that looked staged to me. Bonds normally ignores stuff, but he just picked up the syringe and held it up for everybody to see, including the TV camera.

Did anybody see the guy in the stands with the asterik T-shirt? Had a big astrerik plastered on the front of his shirt, and he kept holding up a sign with 73* on it. Pretty funny.

Good point. I fear that whenever we hear about Barry in the news, we have to assume that it is likely caused by his show.

Did you hear about the "TRADE BARRY" billboard just outside PacBell (I know it isn't the latest name, but I can't keep up with the changing of the San FGran winds)?

I tend to believe that was bought by the producers of the show, as well.

Saw the billboard, Reedster, but didn't think of the show, but now that you mention it, I'll bet your 100% right. No Giant fan is going to want Bonds traded. That billboard was pure Hollywood PR. Everything coming out of the Bonds camp these days probably is to hype his show. The billboard and syringe got him onto regular newscasts, not just sports ones. I'll bet the people on the balacony overlooking PETCO with the Bonds number and shirt who ESPN kept showing last night during the game, were also ESPN plants. ESPN either paid someone who lives there to do it, or more likely, rented the balconey for the night.

well atleast they removed the needle from the syringe before throwing it.... If you look at the replay it's just the plastic part of it. I expect Bonds will get it a lot worse in places like NY, Oakland, and Philadelphia
