Nomar just can't catch a break anymore. I know they dumped Hee Seop Choi to the Red Sox over a week ago, but I believe he's also on the D.L. right now. Hopefully, Olmedo Saenz will pick up the slack.

My heart breaks for Nomar....but he made his own bed.

I'll tell you what...had he stopped with the stick up his ass act in Boston and Theo didn't get the urge to trade him, injured or not he'd be a GOD in this town. He'd be the Cam Neely of Baseball and beloved for the rest of his life, regardless of what he accomplished in his career.

Now, we just look on from Boston and sigh.

I can't help but think of the SI cover when nomah was on it once upon a time and he looked jacked. cant help but think, more and more every day, that he was juiced. same issue with prior. two guys with all the potential in the world and then in 2003/2004 couldn't stop getting hurt...weird huh?

Conor that's when all his troubles started (he went on the dl with his 'injured wrist' just after that cover came out in 2001....I remember my niece was born in July of 2001 and while I babysat and watched baseball I would chant to her 'where's nomar???")...many a Red Sox fan, including myself, wonders the same thing (about his being juiced back then).
