I'm not very knowledgable about salaries. But, one that I do know should be on the list is Phil Nevin at $9.5 million. He is the highest paid player on the Rangers, but certainly not even close to the most skilled. He has looked pretty good this first week, but I wouldn't hold my breath he'll continue. As for Kris Benson, being able to have his wife around the clubhouse is worth at least $4.3 million to club morale. You could add D. Young to the list and Pudge from last season.
