Nomar getting in is a no-brainer. The Wiz of Whittier leads the N.L. in average and should be the leading candidate for Comeback Player of The Year. However, Travis Hafner or Francisco Liriano deserved the final A.L. spot over Pierzynski IMHO. The "Vote for A.J." campaign worked as the Chi-Sox fans stuffed the ballot box in response.

I think somebody else who may have been shafted here is Carl Crawford, just to throw in another name. I do agree with you that Liriano or Hafner would have been better choices than AJ. Garciaparra was a definate no brainer given that he currently leads the NL in batting average.
