It came 24 years to the day after the first major league hit by his father, which was a double off of Philly's Sid Monge Date :   7/20/06, 10:14pm Growing up in Poway, I wonder if Tony Jr. dreamed of getting his first big league hit off a guy named after a Beach Boy.
