This might make Millwood a good fantasy bet again this year... that's a lot of dough, but he'll be setting his sites on a longer term contract.I'm expecting an as equal year as last year in 2004, if not better.

A guy with a career ERA of over four (4.01 in '03) doesn't deserve $11 million a year in my opinion. But, then again, Darren Dreifort makes exactly the same. Okay, at least Millwood pitches once in a while. I can't remember when Dreifort last took the mound.

I don't know... in today's league, 4.01 isn't all that bad... he was under 4.0 the year before... and his WHIP last year was about 1.25.If I were the owner of the Phillies, I wouldn't pay him $11 million, but I think Millwood definitely has good stuff. With this 1-year contract, I think he's one of my Top 15 pitching choices.
