I hope he is never considered the Tigers ace. I like for him to kind of fly under the radar just a little bit, but keep putting up solid performances. Santana is what I consider an "ace" and Verlander is not there yet. Let him get some 20 win seasons, a cy young, and/or first round fantasy status. Only then will he an ace to me.
