Because MLB has a commercial contract with Gatorade, players can only be seen drinking said liquid (or presumably WATER from Gatorade cups, I guess) while in the dugout.

The threatened punishment for bottled water in the dugout is to completely remove it from the clubhouse.

Excellent.

This is a page right out of Idiocracy. Perhaps the groundskeepers should "water" the playing fields with Gatorade... because grass loves electrolytes!

Hilarious. I'm glad to see someone else watched that movie.

This reminds of Major League 2 with the billboards on the outfield wall. The game is no longer a game, it's a giant, walking ad.

Bud Selig, why do you want your fans to hate this game so much?
