Is this the key indicator that the Yanks win the AL East?

Funny, yet dumb story on Sportscenter this morning, Saturday, July 3rd. The headline &/or topic:"The Yankees have some new faces after they lost some key players in the off season & have still somehow been able to remain well ahead in first place. We'll take a look at how the Yankees have done it thus far & how they have retooled as a team so successfully."Dah!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? Hey ESPN,news flash! The Yankees have a shitload of freaking money & way more so than anyone else! It's all about money! Get a freaking clue ESPN! Here they go again just glorifying the Yankees as if their doing something special!PLEASE!! I'll never give the Yankees credit for anything they accomplish!

Over the weekend, the Mets became the first New York team to defeat the Bronx Bombers three games in a row since the Brooklyn Dodgers did it in the '55 World Series. WAY TO GO METS!!

The Yankees will most likely win the A.L. East, but I believe the Red Sox will win the A.L. Championship. Sure, the Yanks have the best hitters that money can buy, but the Sox have better pitching and that's what counts the most in the playoffs. In the fall, Sheffield and Giambi will falter against Martinez and Schilling.
