Alright... not everybody.

Baker says he feels he can still pitch... but, the Twins are "just protecting their investment."

Liriano will start Opening Day.

It sounds like Baker will only miss one start judging by what I read in todays Pioneer Press. He has been roughed up quite a bit during spring training... the Twins say no but its hard to say if the shoulder had anything to do with that. If the injury is as minor as they are saying at this time then there is lots of reason for optimism if you're a Twins fan. They have 5 solid young arms in the rotation with a potential Cy Young winner in Liriano. A lot will depend on the bullpen which is usually a strength for the Twins but was a bit shaky last year.
