Popular baseball-related web site offers individual sponsorship of player statistics pages. I think that this is a very neat idea.Mike Piazza's page, for instance, is available. For $80, you can have an ad appear on Piazza's statistics page. The lawyer in me wonders about the ramifications. Think, for example... what if, say, the West Hollywood Gay Men's Choir decides to sponsor Piazza's page?Think Piazza would be happy?

For some weird reason, I've never liked Mike Piazza anyway! Don't ask me why! I just don't like him!

Since I'm the diehard Dodgers fan, he was one of the few reasons to cheer in the 90s.The day he won my heart was the day he slugged two HRs against the Giants on the last day of the 93' season, knocking the Giants out of the playoffs.
