If you are in deep mixed league and are looking for that final 5th OF there are two guys you should definitely pick-up who are flying below the radar. Ryan Ludwick and Luke Scott are hitting for great averages and are starting to produce in the power numbers especially Ludwick who is batting .343, with 3 jacks, 10 rbi. Not bad for a 5th OF. Who would have thought that he would have better numbers than Big Papi, Andruw Jones, and Jason Bay at this point of the season.

The problem with comparing either of these two with anyone else (with the exception of Andruw Jones)that is an established player will get better as the season progresses. Remember Chris Shelton? I would personally rather have Randy Winn as a fifth outfielder than either Luke Scott or Ryan Ludwick, at least he won't kill your AVG and stay competitive in all other categories except home runs. Of course, if you have start worrying if a fifth outfielder will keep you competitive, it's time to hang it up for the year.

KIlling average?!? Scott is batting .386 and Ludwick is batting .395. Not exactly category roto killers. On the other hand, Randy Winn is batting .285 and has less HR and RBI than both of them.
