Since he started with the Mets, I've always thought of him as overrated. He's never hit for a high average and doesn't seem to come through much when the game is on the line. However, Jeromy could be an asset to an A.L. club as a D.H. with some established stars in their prime. The birds are also said to be keeping Tejada for the time being. It looks like Tejada isn't comfortable with the prospect of playing with a Rob Deer-like player. The best move for Baltimore right now is to sign a power-hitter in his prime.
