Clemens is most likely a longshot, as he seems to be leaning towards re-signing with Houston on May 1st. That's if he doesn't retire, of course. But, Pettitte could return to the Yankees if the Astros aren't in contention with the Cards by the All-Star break. Both are in the twilight of their careers and the Yankees winning a ring is never a sure thing-- at least during the Steinbrenner era.

Both are, indeed, in the twlight of their careers, but damn... that twilight is bright.

Pettitte ended up being the #1 fantasy starting pitcher in all of baseball last year, according to PlayerTrack.com. AND, Clemens (believe it or not) posted the best ERA of his ENTIRE career last year.

Hard to believe.

But it is true.

Here we go AGAIN! Why don't Bud Selig just make a major league baseball rule that allows the damn Yankees to automatically take one player of their choice off every major league team & put them on the Yankees? He might as well because that is about what it's like.

Just get use to it Rob. Anytime the subject of the Yankees in any shape, form, or fashion, is mentioned on here, I am 9 times out of 10 going to comment on it. 9 times out of 10, it will be a hatred towards the Yanks as you already obviously know.
