Tough loss.... Without a healthy Burnett, it will be hard for Toronto to compete with Boston and the Yanks down the stretch. But, the acquisition of A.J. will pay off for the Jays in the years to come.

if he can ever get & stay healthy............

This guy is starting to get that "Prior/Wood" reputation. He is a solid talent but he is made out of glass.

Well, just to be clear, the move to the 60 day DL is not a surprise at all. In fact, Burnett's pitching session went much better than expected. The Jays are just trying to take it really, really slowly, so that he is healthy the rest of the season. Burnett should make his next start around the 21st of June the day after he comes of the DL. I look forward to it.
