News from si.com:• Tyler Houston and Darren Bragg have signed minor league contracts with the Yanks. An interesting note in the SI article is that the Yanks are considering trading for Adrian Beltre (sidenote: PLEASE!).• Todd Zeile signs a one-year deal with the Mets and then blasts the Yanks, saying: "I have no desire to play again for [the Yankees]," during a telephone conference call.

Reedster, just to let you know, I will never & the dr.rub means never own a Yankee player on his fantasy baseball team! That would just burn my soul! I don't care if it's Babe Ruth, Sheffield, or whoever sales out & signs with the Yanks no matter how good he his! I guess I'll be scratching Mr. Sheffield off my wish list for this upcoming season or anyone on the Yankees team! I would rather be a 500 fantasy baseball player that have a Yankee player or two on my team & be in first place! Yes, that'a how much I hate those damn Yankees! I was eyeing Beltre as a player I would maybe like to have on my fantasy team this season, but not if he signs with the Yanks! God bless Zeile for saying what he said & finally seeing the light!

This must be asked then, good doctor. In Baseball Manager, you don't have a lot of control over whether or not you get Yankees, other than to put all Yankees at the very bottom of your draft lists.Your position on the Yanks is very surprising, I must say, considering that you look so much like the Bambino.

I get a disgusting laugh at that picture everytime I see it! It's very very funny I must admit! Your right though Rob! I guess I'll just have to rank all of the Yankees at the bottom of my list, or maybe just not have them on my list at all(not rank them). I hope that doesn't offend anyone within our fantasy baseball league as far as maybe altering the rankings & dollar values quiet a bit. How do you feel about that? If I somehow did get a Yankee player or two on my team, I would try to trade them or release them.

My personal feeling is that once I pick up a player from a team I don't like... that player is now a Litigator.Bottom line for me in fantasy is winning (although you might be hard-pressed to believe this based upon my recent results in the standings). If I have an asshole on my team (i.e., a Carl Everett, Barry Bonds, or -- yes -- I'll include Sheffield), I'll take him if he can give me a chance to win.I'd say that you should take this attitude. You'll only shoot yourself in the foot, otherwise. For instance, to make sure you don't get Sheffield, you'll have to place him in the bottom 20 or so in OFs. You only HELP teams like mine because we'll have to pay LESS for the expected stellar stats from folks like Mr. Sheffield.
