He left the game, today, after 1 at bat... and then, the announcement that something will be announced concerning his future today.A release? Speculation is a retirement. Then again, ESPN also has a piece today on Dean Palmer, an invitee in Tigers camp faring pretty well, who "retired" last season.

Wow!!! I thought he retired a few years ago. Alomar put up some great years in Toronto, but he tarnished his Hall of Fame credentials when he began his "spitball" career.

Probably because you came to the Fantasy game a little past his prime. He was one of the best players in Fantasy baseball for quite a number of years.

Of course, it was only when I actually drafted him (I think in 2001 or so) that he just started to tank completely.
