Yup... Penny has always had the potential to be one of the best pitchers in baseball if he stays healthy. I swear, the Rays have one damn good season & it's like the Yankees & Red Sox treat it like Armageddon. Suddenly the mighty, loaded with money Yankees & Red Sox fear the poor ol' Rays. It's almost like the Rays aren't allowed to compete with the Yanks & Sox. I'm with you here, Rub. I would like nothing more than to see the Rays repeat and win the AL pennant. Maybe the salary cap issue would go away if that happened again, however, I'm still in favor of a salary cap in baseball, so that the Yankees & Red Sox can't spend all of that money. I know about the whole luxury tax thing. The argument that the Yankees pay so much in luxury tax to other teams, however, I like what Torii Hunter said about that.
